Funding & Scholarships:

1. Casa Lü Scholarship
Every accepted artist who requests financial assistance receives a $1,000 Casa Lü Scholarship applied toward the residency fee. This scholarship reduces the total cost but does not cover the full program fee.

2. Casa Lü Fully Funded Residency
Covers all program fees, including tuition and accommodation. These awards are limited and offered in specific cases to artists who will benefit strongly from the residency. Travel, meals, and art supplies are the responsibility of the artist.

3. External Funding Support
Many residents secure additional support through cultural ministries, arts councils, or private foundations. Once admitted, we provide an official acceptance letter to support these applications. You can explore our curated list of external funding resources here.

4. Self-Funded Participation
Some artists choose to cover the program fees themselves. This option helps Casa Lü direct more of its funding resources toward artists who might otherwise be unable to attend.

Requesting funding does not affect acceptance. You may select the option that best fits your situation when filling out the application form.
