APPLICATION PROCESS
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and there is no fixed deadline. We recommend applying one year in advance to ensure your chosen dates are available and have enough time to apply for funding. However, opportunities may arise within a period of months if there is a sudden vacancy. You will receive an answer from us 2 weeks to 1 month after applying.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Fill out the application form. All the lines must be completed. If you don't have a website please add your Instagram account.
2. Send us a PDF with your CV, bio, artist's statement and 5 to 10 images of your work to admissions@casalu.org. Please do not send single images, the PDF must be attached to an email, we do not open external links, Google Drives Drop Boxes, etc.
FUNDING
Many international artists have access to funding through their cultural ministries or other programs. We will provide admitted artists an invitation letter to use for funding applications to cover the costs of the residency. View funding resources here. Artists may also choose to cover the cost of the residency themselves. View residency fees here.
